  1. Summer Off-Campus Opportunities: Summer Off-Campus allows students to earn high school credits through paid or volunteer work and RAP in Calgary. Students must secure job a placement and have HCS3000 completed. Students without a job placement can apply with CAREERS for support finding job. Deadline: June 12, 2026.  Mrs. McLeod will help you sign up for HCS3000.
  2. Students who are interested in programs offered at the CT Centre should see Mrs. McLeod for applications. You will need to take a full morning or afternoon at the CTC and be responsible for transportation to and from the CT Centre. 
  3. CTS Summer School Programs   Deadline extended to May 8

CAREERS is an agency that connects youth with employers. Upcoming opportunities include:

Youth Employment Centre

The Youth Employment Centre (YEC), operated by The City of Calgary, provides free, in-person, drop-in employment services.

Services include:

  • Resume development and targeting
  • Job search strategies
  • Interview preparation
  • Career planning
  • Connections to employers who are hiring
