Congrats to our football team for an exciting 18-0 win last week against Bishop O’Byrne!  This week the team had a tough battle against Western, with a bye week coming up.

Volleyball

This week our Girls Volleyball teams had their home opener against Lord Beaverbrook.  Both teams played outstanding, winning both games handedly 3-0.

Good luck to both teams this weekend at the University of Calgary tournament!

Our boys volleyball teams had a strong weekend of games at the University of Calgary Dinos Tournament, with our senior team winning the consolation bracket and our junior team losing in a very close match against Aberhart in quarter finals, finishing the tournament 7th overall out of over 25 teams.  Both of our Boys teams had dominating performances at their first league games this week against Father Lacombe, sweeping both games 3-0.

Cross Country

This Wednesday was our first cross country meet, and our Lancers runners had a very strong first showing, placing 9th as a team out of 31 schools. Special shoutout to Nella P for her 5th place run in Intermediate Girls, and to Danny H for an outstanding 1st place in Junior Boys!
