Our students returned this week from Los Angeles and had a wonderful trip to Disneyland and a chance that week to connect through a musical experience for our concert band, jazz band and choir. A huge thank you to the teachers who took care of them while they were there and for organizing the trip. Mr. Brown was our teacher in charge and he did so much to ensure an unforgettable experience. Thanks also to Ms. Domstad, Ms. Ehrmann, Mr. McKillop, Ms. McLauchlin, Ms. Senebald and Mr. Wutzke. Your care of our students was truly appreciated!

Thank you to all the families who donated to our book drive. We will be delivering those books to the RESET Society of Calgary. Your support is appreciated!

50 Years of French Immersion – Grade 3 Visitors

Over the past 3 months, as part of our 50 Years of French Immersion celebrations, some of our French Immersion students have been working collaboratively with Grade 3 French Immersion students at Sam Livingston, Sundance, Janet Johnstone, and Chinook Park. Grade 3 students have created a time capsule they will open when they arrive to Scarlett in Grade 10. It has been incredible to see the relationships that have been built across the grades, and the overall excitement about French Immersion. On Tuesday, April 23rd, Grade 3 classes will be coming to Scarlett for a culminating event and to ceremoniously close their time capsule. Similar activities occurred at all of the French Immersion high schools this year.
