The Asian Heritage Foundation of Calgary has curated a comprehensive list of Asian Heritage Month events happening across the city:
- Visiting the Calgary Chinese Museum to learn more about the contributions and resilience of Chinese Canadians here in Calgary and over generations
- Everyday Trailblazer PhotoVoice Exhibit (April 27-May 31) amplifying community voices and lived experiences
- Film and storytelling are also central, with the FascinAsian Film Festival (Apr. 30-May 3) highlighting Asian perspectives in media
- “Portraits of Belonging” Art Exhibition (opens May 1)
- Indo Pacific Festival (May 2), showcase performances, art, and cross-cultural exchange
