Drama
We would like to invite the Scarlett community to see our most recent Drama production: The Wedding Party, by Kristen Thomson.
From Alberta Theatre Project’s 2019 production of this play: “Full of all of the outrageous and cringe-worthy moments that make a wedding celebration so fun to attend, the show invites the audience to eavesdrop on a hilariously off-the-rails wedding reception… Every emotional, wacky wedding story that you’ve encountered happens in this play.”
All performances are Pay What You Can / by donation (cash only), so come on by on the night of the performance, drop a little wedding present in the donations bucket for the happy couple, and enjoy the hilarious and zany performance. The show runs approximately two hours with a brief intermission, and contains adult language and situations (not really suitable for the littlest ones, unless they like teenagers pretending to be adults having meltdowns, excessive pretend drinking, and yelling insults at each other).
- December 11 (Alternate Cast Show), 7:00pm
- December 13 7:00pm
- December 14 7:00pm
*feel free to dress in your best spring wedding attire. VIP seating available for those in formal wear.
