Yearbook Deadline
February 20th is the LAST day to purchase the yearbook! There will be no extras for sale at school in June. Place your order for the yearbook at jostensyearbooks.com or by calling 1-877-767-5217. This is one you won’t want to miss!
Textbooks
Your PowerSchool may indicate that your student currently has a lost or overdue textbook on their account. Due to the January exam and diploma cancellation, the due date for all textbooks has been extended to January 27. Once the textbook is returned, the associated fee will be removed from your student’s account. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out to Ms. O'Bray at kalmiller@cbe.ab.ca.
Student ID Cards
Second semester classes begin on January 28 and students will begin to sign out textbooks and novels for their second semester classes. Please ask your student to check to be sure they have their student ID card as they are required to have their card when signing out materials. If your student has lost their card, they can pay $5.00 for a replacement card at the Business Office. It is highly recommended that replacement cards are purchased the week of January 19 to 23 in order to have their card for second semester.
Advanced Placement Exams
If your child is writing an AP exam in May and has an IPP, they can apply for accommodations which they now use in a specific subject area. Please contact Mr. Brandt at dmbrandt@cbe.ab.ca to apply or to see if they are eligible.
