Here is information to assist you next week. We are looking forward to having all students back on Tuesday, Jan 28 for the start of the new semester.

Robotics Update

Both Team 20718 (Lancelots) and Team 22531 (Lancelittles) will be competing in an FTC (First TechChallenge) Tournament on Saturday, February 1 at Nelson Mandela High School. The event is schedule to run from 8am to 6pm and is open to the public. The teams have a chance to qualify for the provincial championships which take place in Red Deer March 15-16. Come out and cheer on the Scarlett Teams!

Dr EP Scarlett will be hosting the Southern Alberta Qualifier tournament for FLL (First Lego League) on Saturday, February 8th. Teams from Scarlett will be providing volunteers for this event which will have dozens of elementary teams from southern Alberta.

Online Report Card

Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students on Monday, Jan. 27 until May 30, 2025 through MyCBE.

Alex Bus

EducationMatters has announced an Award that is now accepting applications: Investing in the Future Award

Last school year, we were fortunate to have a student apply and win this award. 

  • $100,000 in total for a 4 year program
  • Must be in grade 12 and demonstrate financial need
  • Completing requirements for a HS Diploma and marks sufficient for entrance to post-secondary
