Report Cards and Appeals
Families will be able to view online student report cards from June 26 – July 26, 2024. Report cards for the 2023-24 school year may be viewed, downloaded and/or printed.
Appeals day is June 27 from 9am till 1:30pm. It is best practice to first reach out to your teacher by email at any time (and prior to appeals day if possible). If this is not enough to solve the issue, on appeals day please contact the school by calling the school (403-281-3366) or emailing your child’s teacher and AP directly.

Leaving the CBE? Calling all Graduates!
The Calgary Board of Education reminds students who are leaving the CBE (graduating or moving) to ensure they save any important files or emails, as they will lose access to CBE tools including Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Classroom, Iris, and D2L Brightspace. Prior to June 28 (or in early August, if you are taking summer school classes), students must take copies of the information they need before they leave the CBE. Students not registered as returning to CBE in the fall will have their account deactivated this summer and their data deleted.
**This is especially important in cases where a student has accidentally used their CBE Gmail for personal use such as contacting a post-secondary institution or applying for a scholarship. Registering with the government for transcripts and using PASI should be done with another non-CBE email. Create one when registering with them or updating your info with them as you will lose access to your CBE email shortly.
Students cannot be granted access to their account after they have left the CBE.
For more information, please see Technical Support for Students and Parents.
Are you staying at the CBE? Students who are continuing at a CBE school in the coming school year should review the files they have stored in their CBE Google Drive and delete those that they no longer use. This will help manage their storage space in CBE’s Google Workspace. For more information see: Manage Your Google Workspace for Education Data
Textbooks, Novels & Loaned Materials
Students who are no longer using their textbooks, novels or other loaned materials from the school are welcome to return them to our Library Assistant in the Learning Commons (LC) or our Guidance Secretary who is also in the LC. If they are not available, students will need to take those materials to the Business Office. Textbooks may also be returned on exam days prior to exams and must be returned no later than June 27, 2024. All materials not returned by that date will be charged to student PowerSchool fee accounts. Please note loaned materials will no longer be accepted at the main office.
Bus Service in June
Express bus service is not available this week.
Student Services Updates
MyPass
Students have been asked by CBE summer schools to have activated their MyPass account. Did you know that Dr. E.P Scarlett Student Services can expedite the process, eliminating the need to wait for a PIN to be mailed to your home address? Students can click the EPS MyPass Sign Up link, fill in the information including a non-CBE email address, and our guidance secretary will email instructions to complete the process within a few business days.
Fall CBe-learn Online Course Registration
Wanting to plan ahead? Student Services is now accepting requests for Fall CBe-learn online course registrations. Please note that students will not be enrolled until after counsellors are back to school in late August, and all courses are subject to availability. Please see CBe-learn’s website to view course offerings. Students should complete their own registration using the following link: https://bit.ly/CBeLearnFall2024EPS
Hope you have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
