Students have until end of day April 4 to request a print of Honour Roll certificates. Students should see Ms. Kinas in the main office to request the certificate. Please allow two weeks for us to process and print the requests. Thank you!
Wrestling Update
Congratulations to Vaughn R, Riley L and Katrina V, who represented Scarlett at the ASAA Wrestling Provincial Championships, last weekend. All three demonstrated amazing determination, grit and heart.
Vaughn had his best tournament this season, earning tremendous respect of his coaches, teammates and opponents for his hard work, vast improvement and sportsmanship. Riley wrestled in one of the most fast-paced and agile weight classes. Rising to the challenge and level of competition, he secured a top-six finish. These two grade 10 athletes have a very bright future ahead in this sport.
Katrina impressed with a well-earned fourth-place finish, holding her own against two former national champions in her weight class. She is a fierce competitor and proved that it’s never too late to take up a new sport in grade 12.
Over the past four months, we have been incredibly proud of the commitment, growth and character from our wrestlers. Thanks to our coaches Helen Domstad and Michelle McRorie for your support of our students! Well Done!
