Socktober is here!
Leadership students are asking for donations of new or gently used, clean socks. Socks can be dropped off to “Socky”, our socktober drop-off bin outside the main office. All socks will be donated to the Calgary Drop-In Center. As the cooler months approach, we hope to help those who are less fortunate be comfortable and warm!
Halloween Activities
Halloween events are around the corner! October 25, 26, 30 and 31 students have the opportunity to take a tour through our Scarlett Haunted House! Students are being encouraged to donate new or gently used clean socks for our Socktober fundraiser for entry into the haunted house. All donations will go to the Calgary Drop-In Center. *Warning* the haunted house will contain mature themes, jump scares, a strobe light and fog machine. If students have a sensitivity to flashing lights, they can request to have it turned off for their tour.
There will also be a costume contest on Tuesday October 31st at lunch in the main gym. Students have the option to take part in the contest by registering using the QR Code on posters at the school, or they may choose to be an audience member and vote on their favorite costumes!
Please note that costumes must be:

- No masks (with the exception of participants during the costume contest, once their identity has been confirmed)
