Textbooks, Novels & Loaned Materials
There are currently many outstanding textbooks, novels and other loaned materials that have not yet been returned to the school from the 2023-24 school year. The cost of those materials was added to MyCBE accounts in June, 2024. Parents/guardians, please log into your MyCBE account and check to ensure your student has returned those materials to the school. If those materials were lost or damaged, full payment is required. All textbooks and novels are to be returned directly to Mrs. Miller, our Library Assistant between 8:30 am and 11:30 am M-T and 8:30 am to 2:00 pm Fridays. Mrs. Miller will scan the textbooks/novels back into the system and they will automatically be removed from MyCBE accounts. Please note those materials are no longer being accepted at the main office.
Student Lockers
All students who registered for a locker between August 29 and September 8, 2024 will be emailed their locker information by 4:00 pm on Monday, September 16. Students who registered by September 8 and have not received their locker information by 4:00 pm on Monday can send an email to Kerri Popp, Business Manager at kedpopp@cbe.ab.ca. Please do not register a second time as duplicate registrations make the assignment process more cumbersome and can create significant delays with the locker assignments. If students are having issues or difficulties opening their locker, they can reply to the email that was sent to them with their locker information stating the exact issue and Ms. Popp will provide assistance as soon as possible. Thank you.
Debate Club
This club fosters skills of argumentation and logical reasoning. We are a welcoming environment that supports a safe space for learning important skills. There will be optional weekend tournaments.
Does this sound interesting to you? We hope so! Our student information meeting will be on Tuesday, September 17 at 3:30pm in Room 125.
Please see Mr. Berry for more information.
Principal Advisory
Is your child interested in developing leadership skills that will benefit the whole school community? Last year students planned for a new common area with new furniture for the whole school as well as made important changes to improve school safety at the school.
