Braeden M also went on to represent Scarlett and the city of Calgary at Provincials last weekend. Go Lancers! We’d also like to thank our teacher coach Mr. Spooner for your support of our team!
Cross Country
Our Cross Country runners are heading into their third meet before city finals on October 9th. Both upcoming meets are happening at St Mary’s University with a hilly terrain. Football
Our Junior and Senior Football teams have had a great season so far. Our Juniors play against Centennial on October 3rd at Hellard Field; and the Seniors play on October 4 vs Aberhart on Encana field. The teams are gelling and seeing great improvement with each practice and game. We were thrilled to see students and families out at the Home Coming game a couple of weeks ago. Thank you to our parents from the football team for planning some fun activities that night! What a great turn out and demonstration of school spirit!

Message from Parents
EP Scarlett Parent Council and Friends of Scarlet Society will be holding our Annual General Meeting on October 21 at 7 pm at the school.
We are also looking for volunteers for our upcoming Casino. This is a great way to bring in funds for our school and we often raise around $65,000 or more. We require volunteers at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino for Tuesday November 12 and Wednesday November 13 for daytime and evening shifts. You will receive all the training you need when you arrive and you will find volunteering at the casino both fun and rewarding. Day shifts are between 10am-7pm, evening shifts are between 6:45 pm and 3:45 am or 11 pm and 3:45 am (count room positions only). You can sign up for multiple shifts, but they have to be the same position; you cannot be banker one day and chip runner another, but you could be banker both days.
Timelines are tight and anyone who works in the casino must be cleared by AGLC first.
The link to signup is here.https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0A44AEAC22ABF94-epscarlett Any required paperwork will be sent to you to fill out. If you have any questions please contact epscasino@gmail.com
